Delete and re-send the email service book.

  1. On the Home screen of the BlackBerry smartphone, click Options > Advanced Options > Service Book.
  2. Locate and delete the Desktop [CMIME] service book.
    1. Highlight Desktop [CMIME], display the menu, and click Delete.
    2. When prompted to confirm the deletion, click Delete.
  3. Go to BES right click user: click Resend Service Book, Clear In-Cradle Flag and Reload User.

  4. Reboot BB phone.

Click BlackBerry Administration Service.

2. Start a Web browser. Rebuild backup server without losing backup exec settings and jobs

1. Run BEUtility.exe from the old server
Choose “Copy Media Server Configuration”
2. Copy old catalogs folder to somewhere safe

3. Copy old “besernum.xml” somewhere safe too.

4. Install new O/S, pathces and Backupexec importing above xml.

5. Stop all backupexec services on new media server.

6. Paste old catalogs to new media server.

7. Run BEUtility.exe on new media server
Choose “Apply Copied Media Server Configuration

8. Start the services.
